CHEMIPAN was founded in 1971 as one of the pioneer companies in the field of fine chemicals in Poland. It is affiliated to the two research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences: the Institute of Physical Chemistry (General Manager: Prof. Aleksander Jabłoński) and the Institute of Organic Chemistry (General Manager: Prof. Marek Chmielewski). CHEMIPAN scales up processes that have been worked out in the laboratories of these institutes and implements the processes into full scale plants. Besides the commercialisation of products and processes from the parent institutions, CHEMIPAN works out new products and processes for fine and specialty chemicals responding to the market demand. In this, CHEMIPAN is supported by experienced world known scientists of the Polish Academy of Sciences. CHEMIPAN performs also custom syntheses.

CHEMIPAN delivers fine and specialty chemicals in quantities up to several hundred kilos per year. Our products are supplied to both local companies and world operating and world respected companies in Europe, USA and Japan.

A quality management system based upon the ISO 9001 standards has been recently introduced. Conventional analytical tools such as GC and HPLC are the basis of quality control. CHEMIPAN has also an access to all sophisticated analytical techniques such as NMR, EPR, FT-IR, etc. in the parent institutes.

CHEMIPAN employs 50 persons whereby ca. 30 % are of academic degree. The headquarters and chemical laboratories are located near the centre of Warsaw while our pilot plant division is located in the industrial zone of Warsaw.
