In 2009 The Polish Chemical Society decided, after long discussion, to join the consortium ChemPubSoc Europe in order to become one of the founders of the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry and European Journal of Organic Chemistry.
As a result of such decision the December issue 2009 of the Polish Journal of Chemistry is the last one.
